Christmas Shopping for Spankos
by sugarmouse

The great day is approaching and the mad dash to get the perfect present is well under way, but as we all know, a lot of presents are bought far more for the giver than the receiver!

How often has Cousin Emily bought you the jumper you know full well she'd love to have herself, but you personally wouldn't be seen dead in? Girls, how often has your husband bought you a food mixer in the fond hope that you will then begin making endless cakes for him, or guys how often has your wife bought you that power tool in the hopes that you will become the DIY king?

Sometimes, though, the most innocent of presents can give the most pleasure. Take slippers for instance, often given by mothers or elderly aunts. They can be truly appreciated by anyone interested in our little foible! A slipper expertly wielded ... who needs feet?! If you're buying for your husband girls, what about a nice new belt for him (or is that for you)?

If you fancy giving household items then there's always the carpet beater. That's a fine stingy item, but mustn't be used with too much enthusiasm because I've discovered rears are in fact more hard wearing than carpets, to the detriment of the poor carpet beater. The kitchen gifts can be quite creative too. We've all thought of the wooden spoon and the spatula, but there are also some more unusual ones ... I was given a wok one year ... in both senses of given! A frying pan works equally well! There are some fine firm breadboards, springy chopping boards and some delightfully patterned butter pats! Shortbread moulds also make a glorious impression.

I received a very interesting gift a few years ago. The dear postman remarked on my nice cardboard tube saying he didn't know I was into maps, or was it posters? Nope, it wasn't either, but I wasn't about to share with him the fact that it was a pair of canes! The memory of them will live with me for a very long time. Awfully wonderful and wonderfully awful! As that charming little gift showed, the garden is full of promise. Garden twine can be very useful as can short lengths of garden hose so I am told! Leather gardening gloves are tremendous fun and so are those nice kneelers (both foam and leather covered) and there are so many thicknesses of garden canes to be had.

For more personal gifts you could consider some nice cooling body lotion. A very practical alternative is arnica cream ... which I am sure could be purchased by the vat if necessary. A spanko partner of mine used to regularly give me those little bottles of essential oils. They were rubbed in just before an enthusiastic session and I have to say they added to the sting no end! How about a nice hairbrush, or a bathbrush for everyone in the household? A loofah can also give a lot of fun in the bathroom.

For the child at heart there is always a table tennis set. The bats give a glorious sting. For the switches among us, try mixed doubles. The losers getting spanked with a table tennis bat is a great incentive, though whether to win or lose I am none too sure. Paddle ball games can still be bought in many toy stores. Although the modern plastic bats work perfectly efficiently, the more traditional wooden ones give a deliciously sound spanking. Removing the ball and elastic first is definitely to be recommended! Cricket bats, tennis rackets and even hockey sticks join the delightful list of presents for the more athletic amongst us.

There are also a whole host of great clothing items to be had, depending on your taste, from frilly knickers to gym shorts - and remember that it is not only children that enjoy dressing up. For instance, you could try a nice headmaster/headmistress' gown, or there is always doctors and nurses. A French maid or valet goes down well too!

So remember boys and girls, this Christmas forget the book tokens and go for something more creative. Give a present that leaves an impression! I'm sure you will be well rewarded! Also remember that good people get pressies from Santa ... the bad ones get a lump of coal and a spanking. I'm sure you get my point and I am, of course, looking forward to Christmas Eve!

A very merry Christmas to you all!

A cricket bat should only be given to those with a high threshold for pain, I imagine you could give a tremendous spanking with one of those. You make a good point about mixed doubles. How fun the game would be when both players are trying to lose? I guess you could play a game where the winner gets to pick the role.

Tennis racket reminds me of a Brazilian soap opera where the villain used the racket regularly on the rear end of his abused girlfriend. Till then I never thought that it could be really used for spanking. Good ideas sugarmouse.

I'm afraid to walk through a department store.. All I''ll see are spanking tools and implements. The entire expedition sounds much too painful!
I missed the part about the ice maker; surely that appliance is essential for after care.recovery.
Great piece.

A very amusing article. I shall think of you opening your thoughtful interesting and above all useful presents. You may think of me opening my socks! Usually the socks have something unbelievably foolish or irrelevant on them. Last year they just had the word "BEER" written on them, the year before it was Homer Simpson socks the year before that it was indestructible socks (I have still got them!) Maybe this years socks will have slippers and canes on them! At least it would be appropriate!

Good ideas, but all still to expensive for my budget. Maybe a red bow on the bottom will do this year.

Table-tennis bats I've always found a bit disappointing as spanking implements - but if you can lay hands on a pair of Jokari paddles (or even just one) they can be most effective. They're not easily found, and often quite expensive new - but they do show up now and again on eBay.

Cricket bats are a bit too heavy for my taste - but I do have a lovely miniature cricket bat, about 14 inches long, which does a great job.

Some amusing ideas for Christmas presents. If going for frying pans, though, I think best to avoid Le Creuset. Mine is almost too heavy to lift.

What a cute thoughtful letter, a pity it is to date the young lady's only contribution. I would love to hear more from 'Sugarmouse'.
