The LSF Annual Report: 2011 (cont.) Membership Membership of the site (excluding those arriving via Bottom Lines) grew by 2,763 to 9,359 members during the year:  The year on year registration totals are as follows:  The site was visited by 5,793 different members in 2011. New authors There were 85 new authors introduced in 2011, some writing spanking fiction for the very first time whereas others were seasoned authors who had either just discovered us or been approached for the first time. Submissions A very busy year in terms of items submitted to the library with a grand total of 4,691 taking us to an overall total of 17,542. In terms of document type the breakdown was as follows:  Submission for each month were:  The year on year submissions totals are as follows:  One author requested that their stories be removed from the site. Comments During the year there were 37,364 comments made in total by 1,311 different members with the first three issues of Wellred Weekly attracting a further 393. The top three commenting authors were canadian_spankee (2,010), tfs (1,530) and Guy (1,512) whilst leading the way for the non-authors was Sebastian (1,494), DannySwottem5 (813) and JohnH (639). The following chart shows the breakdown for comments made on library submissions by month:  The year on year submissions totals are as follows:  Of the 5,793 members who logged onto the site this year 4,482 of them made no comments, in percentage terms, 22.6% commented, 77.4% did not. The breakdown of comments made by authors and non-authors was as follows:    Validaters We'd like to say a very big thank-you to all those who gave up their time to validate library submissions during 2011. Having caught up with the huge backlog of unvalidated material from 2010 most items this year were validated within 24 hours of being loaded, a fantastic achievement. So, for 2011, thanks go to: cheery, corncrake, dan2bend, Dave, flopsybunny, Lincoln, Linda, pierced8x, PinkAngel and TheEnglishMaster. Special mention must also be made of corncrake and PinkAngel who reached personal milestones of 2,000 and 5,000 completed validations respectively. And finally, one of the library staff who shall remain nameless, consumed over 1,000 packets of crisps during 2011! Anyway, here's to a spank filled (fiction or otherwise) 2012. 10 comments
